Project Overview:
Since 2015, Altrad (formerly AusGroup) has been providing brownfield maintenance and support services to Chevron Australia’s operational assets. These include Wheatstone, Gorgon, and WA Oil, covering routine maintenance, campaign works, and both planned and unplanned outages. The project exemplifies Altrad’s ability to deliver integrated maintenance solutions, leveraging its expertise to ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of Chevron’s world-class facilities.
Scope:
- Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) works.
- Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) services.
- Welding and fabrication (on-site and offsite).
- Rope access for all trades.
- Scaffolding services, including engineering.
- Industrial cleaning and protective insulation (PIF).
- Crane operations, lifting, and rigging.
- Asset-based workshop management.
- Asset management, including hire equipment, special tools, procurement, and maintenance.
- Minor civils and earthworks.
- Management of other Chevron contractors and related activities.
- Delivered over 2.4 million manhours with a TRIFR of 0.39, reflecting a strong safety culture.
- Flexible Delivery Models: Utilised various pricing models, including Time & Materials, Unit Rate, Target Cost, and Lump Sum, to suit Chevron’s requirements.
- Integrated Services: Provided a comprehensive range of services under a single contract, ensuring seamless execution and reduced client management overhead.
- Maintained operational continuity across Chevron’s critical infrastructure.
