Northern Endeavour FPSO – Maintenance Services

Project Overview:

The Northern Endeavour FPSO is a purpose-built, double-hulled floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel permanently moored between the Laminaria and Corallina oil fields in the Timor Sea. Capable of processing 170,000 barrels of oil per day and storing 1.4 million barrels, the vessel is central to regional oil production. Altrad delivered comprehensive maintenance services to ensure the FPSO’s operational integrity, leveraging a multi-skilled workforce to streamline offshore operations and reduce POB levels.

Scope:

Offshore maintenance including:

  • Scaffolding, insulation, painting, blasting, and rope access.
  • Fire protection and industrial services, including tank cleaning.
  • Rescue services and long-line breathing apparatus (BA) operations.
  • Rigging, inspection, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
  • Mechanical and pipefitting tasks performed from ground and rope access.
  • Successfully maintained FPSO infrastructure with zero safety incidents (LTI free) over the project duration.
  • Reduced operational costs by streamlining personnel requirements and optimising skillsets.
  • Fostered a flexible work culture, enabling technicians to perform tasks beyond core disciplines and integrate seamlessly with offshore operations teams
